In early summer, an industry dialogue spanning mountains and seas has built a bridge of cooperation between Zhongshan Guzhen and Vietnam. From May 7th to 17th, led by Zhou Jintian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Guzhen Town Government, a new model of "two-way exchange visits" was initiated through government-enterprise collaboration. Through on-site inspections and in-depth negotiations, this initiative has injected fresh momentum into expanding the international market for the lighting industry.

From May 7th to 9th, Zhou Jintian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Guzhen Town, led representatives from Dengdu Import and Export Co., Ltd. and a delegation of Guzhen entrepreneurs to Vietnam's key economic hubs, including Ho Chi Minh City.

On May 17th, the Vietnam China Chamber of Commerce (Guangdong Enterprises Chapter) Business Delegation paid a return visit as agreed, conducting an on-site inspection of the Dengdu Foreign Trade Center. Accompanied by Deputy Secretary Zhou Jintian, the delegation explored the exhibition halls in depth to understand the innovative craftsmanship and cultural significance of Guzhen lighting products. During the discussion forum, both sides reached consensus on establishing a regularized cooperation mechanism, planning to jointly cultivate a new ecosystem for cross-border trade through regular exchange visits, information sharing, and joint participation in exhibitions. A chamber representative specifically noted: "The creative design and smart manufacturing capabilities of Guzhen's lighting industry are precisely the industrial elements urgently needed by the Vietnamese market."

The closed-loop exchange model of "outbound visits + return visits" has pioneered a new paradigm for government-enterprise collaboration in overseas market expansion. By establishing government-facilitated platforms and empowering enterprises to play the leading market role, this approach not only highlights the cluster advantages of Guzhen's lighting industry but also precisely captures the demands of Southeast Asian markets. As a key participant, Dengdu Import and Export Co., Ltd. has fully leveraged its bridging role in both phases of activities, laying the groundwork for building a cross-border supply chain service system in the future.

Currently, leveraging its industrial legacy as "China’s Capital of Lighting," Guzhen Town is actively building a global market network. Deputy Secretary Zhou Jintian stated that the town will continue to deepen strategic collaborations with overseas business associations. Through initiatives such as establishing overseas exhibition and sales centers and organizing specialized matchmaking events, the town aims to help enterprises seize opportunities under the RCEP framework, enabling more "Guzhen Smart Manufacturing" products to illuminate the global stage.
This cross-border "two-way engagement" has not only established an efficient communication bridge for businesses from both regions but also outlines a new blueprint for industrial internationalization. Moving forward, Guzhen Town will maintain its open and inclusive approach, collaborating with global partners to jointly write a new chapter in high-quality industrial development.
